As mentioned in a previous post my friend loves to play this game and beats me decisively. It is a tiny bit tricker to set up a server now because you need a token from STEAM and you need to edit the server file in the docker container to get things functioning properly.
The upside is that you can hookup your own passwords and maps and all the other settings very quickly on the fly.
My first builds were on Ubuntu 16 VMs on the compute engine running full installs from STEAM. Then I built images pulled from github. repo
